Blended or Single Malt?
I have a bottle of Macallan 12 on my shelf owing to several friends' recommendations for getting into single malts. But recently I tried some Glenlivet 12 y.o. and was completely blown away. Very smooth and drinkable. IMHO.- AgentVX

Has Recorded Music Ever Made You Freak-Out And Jump?
Door knocking for me as well, from the starting of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. Also in Dream Theater's cover of Funeral for a friend/Love lies bleeding, in the later part of the song there's some keyboard playing that sounds like my phone ringing. -

A cool soundstage effect...
Any of you guys use foobar 0.9.5.? The spectrum analyser (?) at the bottom shows some pretty unusual patterns when the song goes into that trippy part: -

THORENS TD-166 Mk II
I actually took this very turntable off a friend's hands several weeks ago. It's my first turntable as well so I can't give a very educated opinion on how good it is, but I managed to compare it to my parents' cheap Philips TT and the Thorens just blows it out of the water - the sound from the...- AgentVX

Nightwish
Agreed; if anything I feel it makes them sound too similar to Within Temptation now. Not to take anything away from Annette, but I think the shoes might have been a tad too big/too different to fill. Quote: Originally Posted by robojack As much as I liked Tarja, I can understand... -
Where to buy KOSS KSC75s In Singapore?
The last time I went there, Stereo Electronics at Causeway Point stocked them as well as other headphones and related equipment. Jaben at the Adelphi is also another great store that he should drop by for non-Koss stuff.- AgentVX

How many of these have/would you eat?
I'd gladly give pacha a try. Here in Singapore we eat fish heads (in curry or soup) right down to the bone, eyeballs and all So I imagine a sheep head wouldn't be all too different (we also eat some rather unimaginable parts of the pig). And being Asian I'd heard of balut and mice wine...- AgentVX

Earlpug Attenuators
Thanks for that, guys. rb67 - I appreciate the effort; my only concern is the comfort and not eardrum damage, I used the term 'penetration' in my earlier post more for comedic effect In the near future I'm going to borrow my friend's modded tri-flanges to get an idea of how it feels like in...- AgentVX

Is it actually possible to swap the tips on the ER20 like you do with the IEMs? I'm thinking about getting a pair but the stories about tri-flange penetration scare me a little bit- AgentVX
