listen to hiberno latin invasion

slough feg, the best band you've never heard of

Until you two guys posted I thought I was the only fan on the board. Good to know this amazing band has more support than I originally guessed. Interestingly (but not surprisingly, imho) they are one of the very few bands that are pretty much universally liked and respected, at least by those who actually know who they are.

Here we go: Dueling guitarists, united in jazz

Any comments from jazz and/or guitar experts would be appreciated.

Any examples of dueling guitarists in blues?

I think that that Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan is as good as it gets as to great blues masters.

The album is called "In Session".

Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks would satisfy any need for a blues guitar duel.

On Lou Reed's Street Hassle there are two guitarists who demolish everything in their path. Maybe not duelling, but I wouldn't want to get in their way... (I think it's Lou and Stuart Heinrich)

It is quite a thrill!

They've already been mentioned in this thread, but I saw Dragonforce do that at their gig here a few months ago too
