Gen3 Fiio X5 ranges from 3-3.2k HKD. Possibly the biggest issue for the AV show is that the team received the ES the day of, so not much marketing stuff like pamphlets/flyers were available. Something I forgot to mention above as well. Charging is via a USB-C port.

Had some time with it, although the one on display was an engineering sample. Well tuned system. Very resolving with Empire Ears Supra IIs (tested with Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World). Bass felt impactful. I didn't try any songs with strong treble. The GUI does take some getting used...

AFAIK, they don't convert universal to custom.

Hey look, it's Taratino!   Another solid cover

In theory, no. In reality, there will be differences due to degree of isolation + shape of ear canal.

EE's customs tend to be on the larger side. My Supra II is much larger than a friend's CustomArt.

LG V10 : New ESS Chipped Flagship Android Phone from LG

IIRC, it's also showed up in the G4 model.

Boomtube was asking for the universal, not CIEM.   They might have some later, but right now, it looks like only the black chrome version is available. If the option is available, it will be in the drop down menu.

LG might end up having to do something similar to what nVidia did for the 970, although that class action suit only benefited the lawyers.

LG V10 : New ESS Chipped Flagship Android Phone from LG

    I still don't see how it's possible to cram 4 DACs onto a mobile device motherboard.   Here are the ESS DAC chip sizes for the mobile products: ES9028Q2M: 5mm x 5mm 9018C2M: 2mm x 2.15mm ES9018K2M: 5mm x 5mm ES9016K2M: 5mm x 5mm ES9010K2M: 5mm x 5mm   Here's an image of a LG V10...

The only way I see it having 4 DACs if it is the size of a Nexus 7/iPad mini, and that would still come at the cost of a smaller battery.

I didn't test the Zeus R. I tried the Arthur and SpartanIV+Merlin cable. My friend did the Arthur amd Zeus R, and his comments were the Arthur had better detail retrieval vs the Zeus R. Warmer sound and more intimate too. The Zeus R wasn't on the BTG Starlight - rather, it was on the stock EE...

Demoed, but the arthur had the Excalibur cable, and the zeus-r was on the regular cable.

Hard to say though. The V series was originally intended to be LG's experimental series, to see how concepts would do on the market, whilst the G series was to be the mainstream line.   I see them keeping it, as it's been their answer to Samsun's Edge feature.

...   It's not a matter of Jack completing orders faster than other companies. It's a possible bug people can exploit for their order and Jack not getting paid properly for it (15 business days to 5 business days).

Not sure if this is a bug or not (haven't completed the actual checkout process), but it seems like selecting the expedite order option isn't factored into the total cost.

    Noble Audio - Introducing KATANA

There is a possibility of infringement if a logo is similar enough that people can get confused. However, if it's not in the same category of products, it is unlikely to be ruled infringement.

Will the Katana be available to demo at the HK AV Show?
