Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I am not going to lose any sleep over this. The K10 is superb. Just like my SET amp and several other pieces of audio gear, it remains an exceptional audio experience.

I dunno, I was sound asleep last night, woke up around 3am and didn't really get back to a solid sleep, I blame Noble.

Looking to get the savanna universal since I have a cousin in the US who is flying to Manila in December. Looks to be the sound Sig I'm looking for. Probably going to the US next year. Would anyone know how much it is to have the universal converted to customs? I can bring over ear impressions when I come over. Custom off the bat would be too expensive due to shipping and customs duties.

AFAIK, they don't convert universal to custom.

Not sure if anyone feels this way, but with the announcement of the kaiser encore and the recent katana, I must say that I have a newfound respect for noble.

Looking at just about every other company, they push out a new flagship every one to Teo years, adding a few new Drivers in and bumping up the Price hugely. I'm not going to comment on what other companies are doing on the noble thread, but this is one of the very tiny handful of companies that is making updates to the lineup for improvement rather than to come up with a new flagship at double the price. A 350 dollar hike in yhr k10's price in 3 years from 1499 to 1850, seems pretty much in line with inflation to be honest.

As an owner of K10UA myself, I do have to constantly remind myself that the K10 itself are NOT, in any shape or form cheap

Don't frame me...just saying it out loud that's all

It sure what you are saying. I sometimes realise with a bit of a start that I have £1000 in my ears!

Not in the slightest bit! My only thing with the encore is that if Noble was to change one of their most highly regarded models, it has to be for the better. And if what I already saw as my best sounding headphones got better then I'm dying to hear them

Still...it's much cheaper than the wife's diamond ear ring, and they make sweet music...that's how I keep telling myself and justify my spending

I've never regretted the purchase. If you offered me £1000 or the K10 I would take the K10 every time. :)

Yeah, TOTL (C)IEMs are expensive, but considering how much I use them and the joy they bring me whenever I do - They're absolutely worth the cost of admission to me.
