The cable definitely feels flimsy, but I've had mine for almost six months and I use them daily on my commute, the cable is only showing a little wear. Cable is showing more wear than any other part of the cans. 

Got my V-Moda M100s in the mail a couple weeks ago and I'm really enjoying them. I think I like the sound of my Momentums more in general, but the bass on the M100s is great for rap.

This is great. I just traded my Mad Dogs for a set of m100s and now the XL pads look like they're coming out soon. The new pads look awesome.

It's still worth it to buy a PS3. At this point the PS3 has a huge catalog of great games already out. GTA is still coming, the new Dark Souls, Beyond: Two Souls, Saints Row. There's a few more but I'm not sure which ones are also being released for the PS4, which would be kind of redundant.

Hip-hop with actual bands is so good. Jay-Z had an MTV Unplugged show like fifteen years ago with The Roots doing the instrumentals and and it's one of the best live tapings I've ever heard. 

I bought my Momentums partially because of how much I liked the look. Kind of classic looking and small, I didn't want to carry anything around that was huge and gaudy. 

I like the look of the new Momentums. Does anyone know if they sound the same the as the over-ear ones? The different price point makes me think the sound will be different.
