    Blox earbuds Discussion (TM7, M2C, ANV3, BE3/BE5/BE7, B160/B320)

Just when I stop checking the blox website due to lack of activity they start releasing new buds. I am currently still using the BE5 or BE7 (which ever came out later of the 2) and enjoy their balanced sound.    I read here that a lot of people enjoy the B200, however I don't see them on their...

    Blox earbuds Discussion (TM7, M2C, ANV3, BE3/BE5/BE7, B160/B320)

I am getting so confused with all the be's from Blox. Which one was the first released? The be7 or be5? I have them both but forgot which one is which. I just know the one released first has better bass but the one released second sounds more balanced to my ears. Thanks.

Thanks for the be5 impression. To bad however that the be5 are now sold out. Maybe they will be back, or I just wait for the new flagship earbud from Blox.

***Earbud Guide - 22 Earbuds compared***

I would say the MX-985 are better in clarity and detail. The blox BE5 is a bit warmer and has better bass extension. I use the MX-985 for critical music listing and when I want to be more engaged I switch to the BE5 (and sometimes ANV3 however the BE5 has better and clearer treble). The BE5 is...

When I first read the 'hype' around the 38s I was a bit skeptical, however I did order them, they have my favorite housing and were not too expensive. In worst case scenario I could just disprove the whole hype around them if they were really that bad. However they sounded better (after burn...

Do you listen to the tc100 amped? Although I find the mid of the tc100 better than the 38s I don't feel the tc100 have better lower reach on the bass. However I listen unamped.

    Blox earbuds Discussion (TM7, M2C, ANV3, BE3/BE5/BE7, B160/B320)

For my ears the be5 are much warmer and fuller sounding than the tc100, maybe the tc100 is slightly better in the mid-upper range with better clarity. The only thing I find wrong with the be5 is accuracy, here and there instruments tend to sound a bit unnatural esp in the upper range. I wonder...

Inderdaad for me burn in of this range reduced the weird treble, lucky it did no reduce the treble itself since that is one of the strong points. I did not allow brain burn in and even without it the treble is enjoyable. The top end of this bud is it strong point the lower end, although better...

I bought from Amazon.co.uk a while back when they were on sale. I think a paid around $90 but it might have been around $120 with shipping. If sennheisser is discontinuing them I am thinking of getting a second pair. But then again there is always a new bud coming out which might be better than...

The 38s are more clear in the mids and especially highs than the anv3. However the anv3 has much much more bass weight. The anv3 can be a bit unbalanced towards the lower regions, making it sound dark. If you want more balance with still good bass the be5 does a better job. Although I cannot say...

Aren't we all a promoter of good sounding earbuds? Anyway the 38s are nice buds but by no means the best earbuds out there. My pair is great with the highs and mids but in the bass department although the quality is good the quantity is missing big time. Due to this to me they sound their best...

Interesting, I actually rank the 38s buds as quite fast buds. But the again I compare them to the Blox m2c, anv3 and be5, so maybe those are just slow. Although the bass doesn't go very low it is quite puncy.

I have the mx985 and these are not really heavy in the bass either. They have crystal clear highs and transparent MIds and lows but in my ears they don't go that low. Although I suspect that might be partly due to fit. Like the tc100 they don't fit totally flush with me ear canal causing some...

Mine 38s did not sound great out of the box. I could hear it potential as a fast and dynamic bud but the highs were very wonky, very detached and almost like an ego was present. Lucky that resolved for me, and I alternated them with other earbuds too so it's not that I didn't hear any comparison...

For me the 38s changed dramatically around 20 hours. Before still quite sibilant, after it was way less, maybe still 5% left and it is getting less and less. So after 200 hours either something happened to the buds or my ears/brain doesn't hear it anymore. The 38s are also very sensitive of...

I will take 2 for the price of one any day ;) My only gripe is that I will have 2 TC100s. I feel the aliexpress seller should have notified us about the swap. Although for me it is not enough to start a dispute. The TC100 sounds good and maybe even better than the JL1. I only wish the L and R...

Well I am on that list. Initials check out and order time is the same as my order on the Ali express page. Yet I already have the TC100. So maybe the other 2 and another 3th are lucky but not me I guess. I will soon have 2 TC100 (I ordered one from dasetn). Not too bad of course since they are...

6 hours burn in is way to short. It took me more than 50 hours to get rid of most of the sibilance. I do agree that the bass is not as much as let's say the Blox anv3 which goes lower. However it's a faster and punchier bass, which for me makes up for the lack of the bottom octaves of the bass...

To me the tc100 sounds more thicker more balanced and flat than the th38s. The tg38s sounds more dynamic to me, although it sounds thinner than the tc100 it is more fun and engaging to listen too. However that was after ~55 hours burn in for the 38s and 25 hours for the tc100. Still have to...

I will after a proper burn in of both. The tg38s are at ~50 hours now, so will start with the tc100. Can't wait to hear what they will do, out of the box they already sound quite good, have to see how they improve though.

To my ears both play the 20Hz or probably around 23 Hz if the test is a frequency sweep. On the high frequency they both do though 17 kHz and start to roll off at 18 kHz but that could also be my hearing.

I agree that the bass of the tg38s is not overly heavy. And certainly not more than the be5 or the anv3 however the bass is fast and punchy. The treble is still a bit of a problem however very dependent on what track I play. I mainly play 256-320 mp3 from iPod/iPhone.
