Japan Prices
I have a friend in Japan right now and he checked on a couple prices on Audio Technicas for me. He got some decent quotes, but neither of us is sure if tax is included. How does pricing work in japanese stores? Is it like the US where tax is calculated in at the end or is it like in Europe where...- Claus1100xx

H10 amping?
Alright I'm new to this portable audio enjoyment. So please help me out guys. I'm the lucky winner of an H10 20gb for a decent price, but is it worth amping this little baby? I mean it doesn't have a line out and amping the headphone out doesn't seem to be such a great thing, but enlighten me...- Claus1100xx

Attempting to decode Fall Out Boy
I found this video fairly amusing. Since I have no idea what the song is about. Warning: Do not click the video if you're easily offended or accessing this from a place where foul language and some adult imagery are not allowed. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...93179243241083- Claus1100xx

Hum in tube amp
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I get this weird hum in both channels from my SinglePower PPX3. The hum is really noticable at around the 9 o'clock position and gets louder from there. The amp is plugged straight into the outlet at a college dorm, so I'd imagine the power...- Claus1100xx

PC Fan Noise
I have 2 computers. One is housed in a minitower and the other in a huge tower. The big one is barely audible, no matter what I do. The little one is amazingly loud. It has a side fan mounted , but I don't think that one creates the noise. Maybe it's the video card, but it gets loud even just...- Claus1100xx

EMU 1212m output issue

Zenith 6cg7 tubes
Just received these Zenith 6cg7/6fq7 tubes and those are crazy bass machines. I always thought the Jans were the ultimate tubes when it comes to bass. 1212m as preamplifier
Is it possible to run the E-mu 1212m as a preamplifier for a pair of monoblocks or a 2channel power amp? Has anybody tried it? It seems like pathmix has all the necessary volume controls and the card seems to be able to handle most inputs. Would this work?- Claus1100xx

Not so popular tubes (6cg7/6fq7) in ppx
has anybody heard the Zenith Radionic Tubes yet? Any good or a waste of money? Also found clear top sidegetters? Can those be used in a ppx? I would like to try something new but am not sure if I can just pop any 6cg7 or 6fq7 tube in my amp.- Claus1100xx
