My dad has these headphones, the Pioneer SE-20. They are from the 60s, and they're circumaural and closed. They say "8 ohm" on the earcup, I assume that's the impedance. Anyone know anything about these? My dad said they came in a really nice leather case with a satin interior.

Lately, it seems that the MS-1 and MS-2i get a lot of attention on these boards, but the MS-pro is a rare mention. Are they considered inferior to the other high end dynamic headphones? Maybe not a lot of people have them?

I have 192 kbps mp3s of this album, and the cymbals sound absolutely terrible. The rest of the music sounds okay. Are the cymbals just recorded badly or are my mp3s crap? The hi-hat sounds the worst.
