Good to hear, you won't regret it! Also, if you do decide to upgrade, it's no big deal to switch it back to stock and put the leather headband on the new pair ;)

I highly recommend the headphone lounge leather headbands. They are beautiful, comfortable, smell great (think baseball mitt), fit perfectly, and are reasonably priced for what you get.

Hi there, another new Grado fan here! I love the sound coming from my modded MS1i's. Sapele cups, silver plated copper wires, senn 414 q modded pads, and a Headphone Lounge leather headband for looks and comfort. These phones amaze me on a regular basis

I'll see what I can do about getting them together with some good light. Unfortunately it will probably be a bit before they are built into a pair of phones. Spent a bit over $100 in the cups and band and have yet to get a pair of phones to put them on! :rolleyes: Both were limited opportunities...

I got the headphone lounge Brown Manta headband in today, and oh man, it's absolutey beautiful! Smells fantastic! Like a new baseball mitt! The leather is also very soft and supple with ample padding, very nice! I haven't been able to set it side by side with the Iroko cups in good light yet...

I'm the same way. It just seems that one ear hole is a little bigger than the other. I think it's fairly common...

I just got my iroko cups in from Wayne safe and sound. The grain on these is amazing! Way better looking in person than any pictures I've seen so far. They should go perfectly with the headphone lounge brown manta headband I have coming in, I'm stoked! Thanks Wayne!

I wouldn't blame android for the Galaxy's hardware limitations. I have an HTC and it sounds great. The amp isn't quite as powerful as an ipod, but the SQ is quite good IMO. It powers my Shure's just fine and sounds really good... Just my $.02

My MS1i's are getting nice and broken in and Modest Mouse is sounding fantastic on them tonight! Getting excited to do the wood conversion soon, cups are ready to go, just need to find time... and need to peel them off my head long enough

I have some S4's and thought the hybrids worked very well with them. The only issue I had was that they don't pop on to the nozzle very tight, so you have to be careful when pulling them out or they'd fall off or pop out in your ear. They sounded and sealed great though!

I also listen to a lot of electronic music and my next step up after the S4 was the Shure SE215's and I have been very happy with them, especially for the money spent (or not spent...).

Oh, and I listen to a lot of the same type of music as you with them and I dig them for electronic as well as other genre's.
