I'm listening to my Pro 2500s at 8% right now, I consider 25% too loud for me.

So would an amp or a dac be best to get, or a combo like the ibasso d4.  Is too much information going to the dac and getting jumbled once in a while due to overload, or they just need more power?

Superlux is a good bang for buck brand.  They rip off bigger companies design and sound, but use cheaper materials.  They have the hd 660, which is a beyerdynamic copy, but I believe are a little bit above your price.  There also is the hd 662, an AKG copy, and hd 440, I'm not sure what that is...
