Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review
So I got my M9 Meelecs, these are great! I'm enjoying the double flange with these now. Bass retained, sibilance tamed..... beats the supertips hands down. I agree with the "choking" if you put a tip with vents that's narrower than the opening of the phone, you are doing a disservice...- webada

So I took the plunge and got the Monster supertips. IMO, these did not improve the overall sound quality on the HJE. Both Gel/Foam took away the "bounce" in the bass. I'm just not hearing any improvement over the stock medium tips. They aren't particularly comfortable either. Frankly I...- webada

HJE900 vs Brainwavz M2
I seriously doubt the HJE will break after 1 month. I'm not collecting IEM as a hobby, every one of IEM I own I use on daily commute and I only shop for a new one because one broke. (Apple IEM is an exception) Looking at HJE construction, I would be shock if they break within a year. I...- webada

After two weeks of owning them and way over 50 hrs of usage (have stopped counting), I can say that sibilance doesn't bother me any more. Supertips are quite expensive considering they are costing 25% of the IEM they will be fitted on.... But if it will fit and make HJE900 sound better, it...- webada

Read Napilopez and Ink's impression on the supertips. Thinking to pull the trigger... Was going to go for the Meelec, seems like a good value and option but I rather not tame the bass... How do you guys in this thread find the supertips foam and gel in general? worth the $$?- webada

Musical description on these are absolutely correct. Now I have over 60 hours of burning, I've notice the bass is a little more clear, less murky. I found that I really enjoy Jazz on these. As I'm writing this, Miles Davis' So What really shines through. Each instruments are picked apart...- webada

Well I Just Ordered the Panasonic RP-HJE900 Zirconia Earphones!
My impressions with the overall population that tried these were more positives and negatives. Hell, I could have swore there is a poll on this one... Its so strange you would get something and send it back without even trying them on. Its like saying you trust what strangers tells you...- webada

LOL, couldn't agree more. I'm really dumbfounded at folks saying it lack bass.... it was the first thing I notice when I put these on and turned on Grenade by Bruno Mars (which entirely sound too murky, sounds like the bass is way too confined) then I switched to I Gotta Feeling by The...- webada

Quote: They don't, atleast not officially. Read their fine prints on return policy and they say no returns on IEM due to sanitation reason. However, I purchased them physically at J&R, when inquired about return policy, the sales slyly goes "ya if it hisses or got defects" so just...- webada

So I finally picked up a pair after reading several threads here on the forum. The choices were MC5, S4 and the CZ. I went from Shure e2c to UE superfi 5 pro to Apple IEM. Having spent over $200 for the UE, to only have the cable gone bad (replacable) and the plastic housing cracked on me, I was...- webada

Totally insane quality for a totally insane price.....The Etymotic mc5 mini review.
Well, I had two IEM that broke within 2 years lifespan each. Shure had left ear cable short and UE superfi 5's plastic housing had a crack and eventually felt apart, not to mention a cable issue plus plastic ear tube that cracked.... I think IEM should be build rugged, most of avg...- webada

Looking for IEM that's like B&W P5
Is it even possible? I like the way B&W P5 sounds, listened to them in Apple store and was blown away (no flames plz) I don't own any full size cans and my experiences with IEMs consist of Shure E2C(yes, long long time ago) and UE Superfi 5, both are broken and now I'm back on regular...- webada
