    Chinese Speakers?

I have a pair of Leisure 5's finished in Rosewood in my bedroom speaker rig and they sound excellent. I have them coupled with a small sub, but they would be virtually as good without it. Beautiful finish and the best sound I've heard from a two-way.

Sound card with multiple SPDIF outs...

...seems like it will work also. It has three SP/DIF outs via a four-pole mini-plug. The Creative drivers disable digital outputs when the 2ZS is performing Dolby decoding, but when used in conjunction with MatrixMixer, the board will be operating as a pass-thru six channel output card, which...

Sound card with multiple SPDIF outs...

Ed - Thanks for the reply. I will download the RME manual. But, to clarify, I intend to drive different signals to each SPDIF output simultaneously. So, a dist box won't work for me.

Sound card with multiple SPDIF outs...

I am looking for a modern PCI or Firewire-based sound card featuring one SPDIF input and three to four SPDIF outputs which may be used concurrently under Windows XP. DirectSound drivers are required. D/As are optional. Flexible on price. Any suggestions?

any one got their K701 yet?

Got the 701s, listened for 15 minutes driven with Grace 901. I am going to return them next week. Nowhere near as detailed as my K1000s (SAC amp). Not even in the same league as K1000 + sub (but then, what is?); Detail is slightly better than my HD650's, but more boxy and enclosed. Less...

    What's next?

They're North Creek Rhythms, but I use the DEQX instead of a passive crossover, and I replaced the Revelator 99000 tweeter with the LCY 130. The Subs are Poseidons. Not shown are two Taylor Minuettes which provide very subtle ambience recovery.

I really love the sound of the K1000's, but they're a tough load for my iPod ( ).
