Best Portable Headphones for Dubstep?
Well if it has to be on-ear, I guess I would also recommend the M-80. $150 is a fair price too.- cudakite

Help me decide on some awesome portable over ear Headphones for 300 dollars or less?
Quote: +1 on the UE6000. Go to an Apple store and check them out. The V-moda M100 is getting a lot of buzz too and is right at $300.- cudakite

what is better, sennheiser hd25 or v-moda m-80?
Well look, I'm not you. I can't predict what will sound pleasing to your ears. Everything Trujunglist said above is accurate and I agree with 100%. At the end of the day he prefers the HD25 and I prefer the M80. There is no 'best' between the two. You really need to listen to the HD25 and...- cudakite

what is better, sennheiser hd25 or v-moda m-80?
Quote: Have you already tried the HD25? If you try it and like what you hear just get them. Easy enough. But if you want to make sure between the two, you could buy the M80, take it with you to the place where you can try the HD25 and directly compare the two. If you buy the M80 (NEW...- cudakite

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Quote: +1 The UE6000 sounded worse when noise cancelling was turned on. And in a busy Apple store, with a drone of background noise, I didn't notice ANY noise reduction with it turned on.- cudakite

what is better, sennheiser hd25 or v-moda m-80?
I returned the HD25 and then bought and kept the M80. I use them often at work (office environment) every day. The HD25s are fairly bright sounding and as a result I personally found them fatiguing. The M80s, by contrast, are more mid range centric. To me the M80s were smoother sounding...- cudakite

Hey thanks Mutant. That was my hunch. It seems the two (UE6000 & M100) are very similar. $100 more is no small amount. -- cudakite

So I heard the UE6000s at an Apple Store yesterday. Is anybody able to compare the M100 to the UE6000? I'm looking for a point of reference to get a tangible idea of what the M100s are like. Thanks -- cudakite

Strong Bass & Good Quality Headphones £200 ?
Quote: Well just remember it's all personal preference. I will share that the the quest for huge bass as the holy grail of sound never worked out for me. The PRO700's made me realize I didn't enjoy a sound signature were the bass out shines all else. But that might be exactly...- cudakite

Strong Bass & Good Quality Headphones £200 ?
Hmm If Dubstep is your thing, the cans you listed above should work well enough. Might just be a matter of picking one. I've personally bought (and returned) the ATH-PRO700MK2 and an Ultrasone HFi-480. The PRO700MK2 is very uncomfortable out of the box and you will have to buy different...- cudakite

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Quote: +1 Specifically the lower frequency response. I expect them to have 'louder' bass than the M80 but does it reach deeper? is there more texture? I don't want bass cannons. I was just hoping for more dimension vs the M80.- cudakite

Quote: That's what I was wondering. Thanks Zom. Have you, by chance, heard the M-80s? The M-80 is my current headphone of choice. I've become quite fond of it's sound signature generally speaking. My hope for the M-100 was that the mids would remain largely the same while the...- cudakite

BEST BASS CANS $150 HELP!!!!!!!!
Quote: then stay clear of the PRO700MK2. I returned mine because I disliked the highs/mids so much. The ultrasone HFI-580 is about $150. It has great bass and great clarity but is pretty uncomfortable. I've not owned the M-Audio Q40, but I've heard good things about...- cudakite

First entry level audiophile headphones?
Hmm Good suggestions above. Considering you want to use them while being active (walking/gym) I would recommend on-ears rather than over-ear. They are typically lighter and have a short cord. Easier for a MP3 player to drive too. I hate to say this but my first suggestion is a headphone that...- cudakite
