When putting the Æons on a stand like the Woo Audio T-stand, is it recommended that they hang on the leather band or the metal wires?

Thank you for your answer. I did not damage them. I just bought a used pair of Æons and when I buy a used headphone I usually replace the pads because I'm a bit obsessed in that regard.

Is it possible to buy replacement pads for the Aeons? I can't seem to find them on the MrSpeakers website.

Can anyone who have tried both the Ether C Flow and the Aeon comment on how the isolation from outside noise differ between the two models?

I have a pair of HD800 that I'm driving out of a Questyle CMA600I which have balanced outputs, and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to purchase the CH800S cable from Sennheiser. How does those of you that have tried the HD800 with balanced cables find it? Is it worth the price to upgrade?

How is the isolation from outside noise on these?

I've had the headphone for a few days now and I'm really starting to enjoy it after some getting used to / burn in time, but does the clamping force become lesser with time? I find it a bit tiring after an hour or so.

I've had the Denon D7200 for a few days now and I really enjoy the sound, however I find that they let a bit too much sound in for my taste. Is there any chance that changing the pads to a different type will give better isolation than the stock pads? If so which would you recommend? I'd hate to...

  Got mine a few months ago and thought I'd share a picture. It's really a beautifully made amp. I enjoy the way it pairs with my HD800. I don't find it harsh or bright like many others have described the HD800, so I guess that suggest a successful amp/dac paring.

I haven't tested with USB yet, but my unit makes a unpleasant noise sometimes through optical. It doesn't happen when changing from one track to the next, but rather if the music is paused for a few seconds. Then when I turn it on again the noise appears or if I'm listening via YouTube and spend...

Wonder how they will fix the problem with the USB. Is it likely that the units will have to go back to Questyle or can it be done with a firmware update or something?

It would be great if someone from Questyle could confirm/refute if this is the case. I want to buy the 600i but am hesitant because of the USB issue, but since I don't own any DSD tracks it wouldn't be a big problem as long as the issues are limited to switching between DSD/PCM.

  I don't think I'll be upgrading in the foreseeable future, so the setup I end up with should be the best I can get for my current budget.
