I have a pair of HD800 that I'm driving out of a Questyle CMA600I which have balanced outputs, and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to purchase the CH800S cable from Sennheiser. How does those of you that have tried the HD800 with balanced cables find it? Is it worth the price to upgrade?

Not sure about the Sennheiser balanced cables, but balanced cables, with balanced amp were a terrific upgrade for my HD800s.

I used both a Toxic Cable, and more recently the Cardas set.

Balanced worked for me, I'm sure the amp will matter.

Moved on to balanced Utopias now.
