    Good sounding ear-buds for running.

PK3s are looking good right now, but I am also interested in the Meelectronics ai-m6. Any ideas which would be better? The M6s look like they would stay in much better than the PK3s, but for rock, which would be more suited?

    Good sounding ear-buds for running.

What is the difference between the PK2 and the PK3 soundwise?

    Good sounding ear-buds for running.

Yeah, that is what we are talking about. Or some IEMs if they don't give feedback from running. I just want something that isn't a pain to put in, stays in, and sounds decent.

    Good sounding ear-buds for running.

Ohh okay. So I guess I am wanting ear-buds rather than IEMs then, huh? What kind of ear-buds would fit within what I asked for? Thanks guys!

    Good sounding ear-buds for running.

Hey guys, just wanted to get an idea of what some good earbuds for running would be. It needs to have good sound, and be easily cleanable. Most importantly, however, is the ability to stay in my ear. It is a must that I can put these things in, and go through my whole run without the buds...

Alright, thanks a lot for that. I am decent with a soldering iron, so I will see what I can do.

    Gilmore Lite now $499?

Wasn't that amp lite $300-350 a year ago?

Possible burnout on a Little Dot I+. How can I tell for sure?

Bump. There is no one I can send it to so that they can take a look at it? Nothing I can do to figure out if it works? I don't want to plug it in and try it again...that would likely cause an electrical fire. Does anyone repair these things?

Possible burnout on a Little Dot I+. How can I tell for sure?

Hey guys, the other day my TI-89 fell off my shelf and onto the tubes in my Little Dot. The tubes were clearly knocked part-ways out of the sockets, so I hurriedly turned the amp off. I waited about an hour before messing with it, and I reseated the tubes and turned it on. Everything seemed to...

    Gear for a runner

Hey guys, I am an audiophile and a cross country runner. I need to purchase a good music player and some IEMs that I can use while running. I am also a college student, so spare cash is not exactely something I have a lot of at the moment. Max budget is about $300, but less is always better. I...

AD700: Should I take the chance?

I think you should be okay. Just don't expect to do much headbanging in them.

    ultrasone hfi-780 or denon d2000?

I have the HFI-780s an I love them. They are bit uncomfortable until you find their right fit for your head. That and the padding takes some time to soften up. I also had this question and ended up going for the HFI-780s because I found them new shipped for $170, which was much cheaper than the...

    Making wooden cups

Ohhh...those require a great deal of skill to make. You need machining tools or a really skilled hand with some woodworking tools. Grado type woodies can be done by most beginners with some special drill bits. But if you are doing closed cups I am afraid that I can not be of any help. I know a...

USB-DAC or Amp or ? Help. (Already searched)

Could always get a Pico DAC or a Pico DAC/Amp. I just bought the stand alone DAC myself, but I can't give you any impressions until it arrives. Both are highly portable thought.

    Closed:ATH-ESW9 vs. HFI-780 vs. D2000

My HFI-780s came in this morning and I must say so far I am pretty impressed. Even though they have had zero burn-in time, the are sounding really good already. The bass could be a bit tighter, but I am sure that will happen with time. And soundstage....wow. It doesn't match my AD700s...

Hey intoart...did you ever learn how to read a graph? At all? Cause if you think those are subtle differences, then you are a fool.

    Which DAC to get?

Wow....so I ordered the DAC at 11pm and I check my email 3 hours later and Justin has already sent tracking information to me. Not only that, but I had some questions which he answered very quickly. If the DAC is half as good as his customer service, it will be pretty sweet.

    Which DAC to get?

Well, in my time with a laptop's headphone out port....the sound was dreadful. I did not intend to get a portable DAC at first, but if the pico is usb powered, then I will take it for sure. Thanks for the input guys, but based on the fact that I may need at least something portable and the pico...
