PK3s are looking good right now, but I am also interested in the Meelectronics ai-m6. Any ideas which would be better? The M6s look like they would stay in much better than the PK3s, but for rock, which would be more suited?

What is the difference between the PK2 and the PK3 soundwise?

Could always get a Pico DAC or a Pico DAC/Amp. I just bought the stand alone DAC myself, but I can't give you any impressions until it arrives. Both are highly portable thought.

My HFI-780s came in this morning and I must say so far I am pretty impressed. Even though they have had zero burn-in time, the are sounding really good already. The bass could be a bit tighter, but I am sure that will happen with time. And soundstage....wow. It doesn't match my AD700s...
