Yep but I'm talking about Bifrost 2's ease of upgrading its innards. Instead of dealing with so many screws and the hassle of disassembling it, they could make it much easier to upgrade just like Bifrost 2.

Are you sure there won't be a Yggy 2? Just imagine what you could do if you revise the design just like Bifrost 2. :slight_smile::slight_smile:

Where is it made?

I just got a Magni 3+, I really like the amp, except the small volume pot. Sound-wise, the amp is never fatiguing, neutral, black background.

I have both Ares II and BF2. IMHO, BF2 sounds better: better staging, easy on the ears, and at the same time very detailed. I have not spent more time comparing the two since my initial comparison, my Ares II will definitely go for sale soon.

This new Bifrost 2 makes me wonder if Jason is able to redesign Jotunheim, Lyr 3, Asgard 3, Gungnir, Yggdrasil to have the same modular architecture as Bifrost 2.

Yep, it's the better shielding that makes the difference.

I'm using the same setup. Saga w/ Tung Sol + Vidar. I notice if I use certain interconnects, I can hear hum. I switch to Blue Jeans LC-1, no hum at all at any volume, tube or passive mode.

I just got a Vali 2. I notice the volume knob has been changed to something similar to Magni 3, Loki Mini.

Interesting observation I found recently, the mINT headphone amp section is comparable to CEntrance DACport. It's a class A TPA6120 based op amp. No wonder it sounds so good.

The preamp section is one of the best I have found at any price.
