Part-time job for a recent grad just trying to get by?
Any advice from people who have gone through a similar situation? I just recently graduated and have been looking for a part-time job to get by for the next year. Where I'm currently living, getting by means making > $1000. I've been looking for about a month now, applying to a bunch of odd...- skitlets

Canker sores (aka mouth ulcers)
I used to get them frequently. They only pop up now when I'm extremely stressed, not hydrating and eating lots of fried food (fast food, chips), or not sleeping enough for a couple days. But now that I'm going to the gym regularly, eating extremely well and trying to sleep as much as possible...- skitlets

I don't think the new maudlin of the Well, which was released free online, got the loving it deserved. -
What camera do you use?
I have a Canon S90. Perfect for my uses! A bit pricey but it's one of the few compacts with full manual controls.- skitlets

Amps are too loud.
There are a few amps out there with unity gain, or rather can be ordered with unity gain. I got my Glite from Justin with a gain of 2 and thinking back, I should have asked for unity.- skitlets

The difference between RA1 and RA1-HG
From my experience the regular RA-1 already has a gain that is too high for me. The HG version with Grados would be unlistenably loud.- skitlets

Spam fried rice, spam and eggs with ramen, all good! (Ketchup in spam fried rice? That sounds... not so appetizing to me.)- skitlets

Weight lifting/Strength/power grip/Personal training fi...
I'm extremely thin. Is it at all possible to put on maybe 10 pounds through body weight exercises? I've been doing push ups, pull/chin ups, crunches, and I have access to a leg press and simple pulley weight machine which I use for a standing fly. I lifted a lot a couple years back and only put...- skitlets

Goo Goo Fans, is it just me or is Let Love in EXTREMELY Brickwalled?
I'll have to spin the disc again but I remember the snares in particular sounding off. For similar kind of rock, I think Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antarctica sounds much better. -

The only Goo Goo Doll album I have is Dizzy Up The Girl and I was disappointed with its overall sound quality. I might have to look into getting Superstar Car Wash. -
My Ex Tried to Contact me On Facebook - What Should I Do?
Is everyone here incapable of being friends with an ex? I see a significant other as a friend you happen to be physically attracted to. If the connection is lost, can't you still be friends? I talk to my ex every once in a while and it's no big deal. Yes, I do have a girlfriend and she is...- skitlets

Help with an AP Psych Project
Pet peeve, in your opening title, use AFFECT the verb not effect the noun. Took the quiz, hope it helps! I really enjoyed AP Psych when I took it 4 years ago. I hope you have just as much fun.- skitlets

So which of the HPs that you owned do you hate the most?
The MS-1. They introduced me to the world of head-fi and brought on the upgrade itch. Favorite? The HF-2. I think my setup is revealing enough that the limit of SQ now are most of my CDs. I also would prefer a DAC so that I can listen to CDs AND use my computer as source, but that's a matter...- skitlets

Hewlett Packard Technical Support [i wish this is a joke]!
They're all the same. Anyone remember the nVidia mobile GPU fiasco? Tons of gpus went belly up and completely died. My dell laptop died 3-4 days after my warranty expired. What's the best computer desk?
If possible, I think a wall-mount for the monitor would work a bit better than a second level. You can place it at a more ideal height while also freeing up desk space. I currently use a Vika with a table arm.- skitlets
