Blerg! I've been away from Head-Fi for a few weeks and come back to this madness! Ordered. Much to the disdain of my wallet.

    FLAC Player

I'm using a Meizu M6 (older SP version, before the SL) as a FLAC player. IMO, most of the firmware issues don't apply if you're just going to play FLAC files. And actually, right out of the box, you probably won't notice many issues at all.

    Yuin PK1-PK2 impressions thread

I was also having a hard time with the fit (kept slipping out) of my PK1 and PK2. I put on the normal yuin pad, and then slipped another yuin donut pad over it. Now I get a much better seal, more bass . Depending on the size of your ear, this may be worth trying.

Anyone uses Corda Move + PK1?

Bump! I'm also wondering if anyone has tried these two together...

    Yuin PK1-PK2 impressions thread

I got my PK1 earlier this week and... Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Amazing earphones. Worth every penny, and then some. With an Entech 205.2 and Perreaux SXH1, I'm actually getting a lot of bass.

    Best isolation? Audio-Technica vs. AKG

I have all three of these headphones and this is how I would rate them in order of less to more isolation: 3. AT A900 2. AKG 271s 1. Senn HD280 Hope that helps. The only thing I've heard that has more isolation than the HD280 are my Shure E2Cs...

    grado 'button' glue removal

I just pulled my buttons off my 325...and was wondering about using a hairdryer (on low setting) to warm up the glue and make it easier to pull off? Bad idea? Would the heat damage the headphones in any way? I really don't want to remove the cups...but I would like to get these unsightly glue...

    $230 for new pair of 325's (not 325i's) - a good price?

I have unported beta c-pads and thought they de-emphasized the highs on my sr60s. So I was thinking of getting the 325i or 325 to get some of that back. Ended up finding silver 325s for about $160 on audiogon, seller said they were only a few months old. I think they sound great with the c-pads...

Using 6.1 as 2.1... 3 Speakers on Each Side?

You could also just run your 6.1 computer speakers in a 2.1 config (don't hook up the extra speakers until you have room). I did that for a while with a Cambridge 4.1 setup... I never tried stacking them like you're describing...but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try... I think that's one of...

    Integrated Amp or Reciever?

I have an NAD 304 integrated amp from the mid 90s. I used to use it with NHT SuperZeros and I thought the combo sounded great. I also used it with some NHT SuperTwos (another great sounding combo). I think a newer NAD integrated amp would go great with your SB3s. If you need something more...

    A900 blu-tak mod pics

I've stuffed as much cotton as is humanly possible into the earcups, and the bass impact is still not there. But UNFORTUNATELY my wife was bored the other day when I was doing this mod...and before I knew it, she had snipped one of the DADS donut-shaped pieces of foam into about 50 pieces, 15 of...

    A900 blu-tak mod pics

I've gone from 5 cottonballs per earcup to about 9...and the bass is returning. Still not as much as there was before, but it is does sound tighter and more accurate. Think I'm going to have try squeezing in 2-3 more per cup...
