    You guys got me thinking, so I may be able to use my Porter Cable random orbital buffer I use on my car to polish my old scratched CD's and DVD's? Hmm...I'm thinking a fine polishing pad with mild plastic polish may work as mentioned above...now to rig something to safely hold the disc down...

    If you enjoy what you're hearing then stick with it. Never A/B test your headphones with anything else, other wise you risk falling into the hi-fi trap of chasing what's better...

    It could be your source...an amp's just going to amplify what's fed into it, so if your source lacks detail/qualities you want to hear you're not going to improve things with an amp. I find A/B testing between amps reveals the biggest difference when listening to detailed music like vocal...
