After four years of hapy listening with the UE11pro, i had impressions made yesterday to check out the UE18. Really looking forward to it. I will post impressions and pics once received.

I have been trying to keep up with the saga, however hopefully someone can answer two basic questions. Is it optical or coax? Is it going to decode USB audio so i can use my iPad and camera connection kit?

I'm going to guess those will be the longest 'few days' in audio land...

Whats the latest speculation on when they will actually ship? I have read through the posts however, quite honestly it is still confusing at best. The JH website still says winter 2011. I saw some mention of spring, March, April... Said another way, i have been holding off ordering because i...

I'm in the same boat. I know as soon as I order the JH16, the JH3A will finally ship. UGH.  Decisions, decisions. I like the idea of portability and the flexbility with the JH16 not being tied to a specific amp and also being able to use them straight out of an iPod or iPhone.

It would be great if JH Audio and Whiplash would team up to offer the TWAG cable as an option so the JH3A could be tuned for the cable when you purchase it.

It's interesting though - if they were close to release then why wouldn't they have theJH3A to demo at RMAF? thought on that? Has anyone there asked why no JH3a demo unit?

Has there been any discussion about the case for the JH3A? I was hoping there would be a case provided that holds both the amp and IEMs. If that is the case then one side would be heavier than the other when you pick it up so it would be really sweet if the outside of the case had say black one...

I tried the Klipsch S4 v. the Maximo imtetal IP-HS5 and thought the Maximo walked all over the Klipsch in sound quality. Different strokes for different folks, however I definitely preferred the Maximo's audio quality vs. the thin sound of the Klipsch. I was shocked that I had read so many...
