It has been released in Germany today. Needless to say I've received my copy! The artwork is a true masterpiece. Staring through those lenses makes my eyes hurt a bit but it's just fascinating to look at the pictures!

Well, the first pictures of the actual CD have arrived on a German Tool forum. One member was really lucky and was able to buy the album already. This is what the CD looks like: Furthermore there will be a sticker of the TOOL and the 10,000 Days logo (also in the picture).

That's strange, I've never liked a Tool album right after listening to it for the first time. I think there are many catchy melodies but at the same time the beast seems very complex to me, which is why I will give a lot of time to grow. I think it's too early to write down any further...

I've been listening to the song like 30 times today and I think it's amazing while still growing on me. The guitar just sounds so powerful, the drums are as accurate as ever, the bass guitar was a nice surprise since it's way more stressed and in the front than on former Tool recordings IMO...
