CPU and HD temps
I bought a cheap laptop for the purpose of staying connected while out and about without having to lug around a 17 incher. It has a T5500 Intel Core2 Duo processor. Temp readings are: CPU Temp: 71-72C at max performance (continous max CPU speed), 63-64C with dynamic switching HD Temp...- oicdn

Most awesome rock song INTRO?
The song "Can't Be Saved" by Senses Fail. I just just love that main line. "Testify", "Guerilla Radio", "Sleep Now in the Fire", "Renegades of Funk" by Rage Against the Machine. Well, anything by Tom Morello is ridiculous. -
Initial impressions of Grado GS1000.
Price aside? i.e. if somebody were to buy them for me, sure, I would take them over the other Grado's, or any other dynamic can I've heard. I'd be stupid not to. I don't like the PIERCING highs. They were just tolerable on the SR80s, fatiguing on some songs, but JUST RIGHT on most everything...- oicdn

Initial impressions of Grado GS1000.
Posting this because I was loaned a set of GS1000's. Although I have not yet heard it with a "synergized" amp, I can give an impression thus far. This thread will also be where I post my final thoughts... ------------------------------- I've heard these cans are VERY picky about what they...- oicdn

The NEW ALO website is Complete!
ALO Audio Mis-spelled fidelity. You spelled it right in the description, but a typo in the title. In the headphones section, you have a modded HFI-780 and HD650, but aren't in the modded headphones section. Nice site though. Diggin the upgrade.- oicdn

Damien Hirst: Visionary Artist, or Complete Fraud?
I went to an art show ONCE. The reason ONCE? Because my friend was in it. He does REMARKABLE pieces, far more intricate and complex than anything else I saw there. Yeah, I may be a little biased, but even just from an artist POV, his work was definitely up there. Now I'm not knocking abstract...- oicdn

Calling on Head-Fiers from Philippines?
Pinoy here as well. I used to goto the PI every summer, but haven't been in 8 years. Either because my mom likes to go when tickets are mad pricey, or because it conflicts with moneys or schedule. We have a couple houses in the PI, mostly in metro Manila/Quezon City, but also in Mindinao...- oicdn

Looking for a member here in town. Jacksonville, Fl.
I lost my cell and I can't remember what his SN here is, nor his phone number. He doesn't post often, but he's here in Jacksonville, Florida. He wanted me to give him a call when some new cans came in, which they did. His first name is Derek and drives a Subaru STi. Anybody able to help? PM...- oicdn

The LaRocco Diablo....
I personally believe a company and price plays a large factor into what the product is. And the product itself is great, when you get a working one. The Diablo is a fantastic amp but a company who has shoddy customer service, coupled with a high price tag when you're playing roulette on...- oicdn

iPod 7G: 120gb only
Logistics make perfect sense from a business standpoint. The regular iPod has probably suffered in sales compared to the Shuffle, Nano and Touch. So, why offer an expansive line with a ton of options on the least purchased product? It's perfect sense. Increase profit margins by only having to...- oicdn

Laws are crazy. Found on another forum.
Before I gave him my two bucks, out of curiosity asked for the documents. He eMailed scans of the paperwork mentioned and some, lol. He's in Florida too. Apparently, she got him arrested, which made him lose his job, and she took the kid with her. Now she won't let him see the kid.- oicdn

Virginity for sale.
What's the big deal about a virgin? They're lousy in bed, and really, they're not any "tighter". Are people these days now really willing to pay top dollar for a crappy lay? Seriously, spend 1% of that, go to the Bunny Ranch and get worked by a professional, haha. I guess if you're willing to...- oicdn

HAIR GEL ... which to use?
Bed Head is really good stuff. They have a wide range of products to suit most any app. I don't quite understand why people put gel or hairspray in their hair, and NOT want it to be stiff. Seriously, that's the PURPOSE of it, to keep your hair in place like it was when you first styled it.- oicdn

My buddy is an idiot. (relationship)
Hah, I was just posting it because I couldn't stop thinking at how absurd the scenario is. Sitter for the dog? The dog is like 4 years old, and is house broken so it doesn't really need a "sitter". I dunno what up with her rents (assuming that's where she moved back in to) not wanting the dog...- oicdn

My buddy is an idiot. (relationship)
He's been dating this chick for like 6 years. I dunno the details or her side of the story, but apparently they had not even an argument, but more or less like a facetious "Yeah, I'd rather be single" thing. Well, I guess when he came home from work she moved out. So, apparently he was...- oicdn

Pandora may pull the plug!
There's a kinda round-a-bout way to help I think. Those ads on the side of Pandora are probably pay per click type ads. Why don't we click on them, then close the window that pops up? Pandora gets paid, and we help keep it afloat. If everybody does this every so often, that's a lot accrued up...- oicdn
