Hello,

What say you? Some of my favorites are below, although i'm sure i'm missing a bunch of classics. Again, this is not a thread to describe your fave bands, songs, artists, etc.etc.etc. This is only for what song(s) you think has/have the best intro(s) in the Rock&Roll genre.

Dream Theater - 6:00, Honor Thy Father, Glass Prison
Pink Floyd - Have A Cigar, Welcome To The Machine, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part I), Money
Tool - Ticks & Leeches
Opeth - Master's Apprentices

The song "Can't Be Saved" by Senses Fail. I just just love that main line.

"Testify", "Guerilla Radio", "Sleep Now in the Fire", "Renegades of Funk" by Rage Against the Machine. Well, anything by Tom Morello is ridiculous.

Only one correct answer for this.......

and the answer is Like A Rolling Stone! Maybe its redundant now, but that is the greatest single 1 second intro of any rock song......this can't be debated

Yes - Roundabout intro

Unique for a rock song, just play the first couple notes and it is instantly recognizable and builds nicely into the body of the song structure, plus it is very beautiful and majestic
