Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Quote: Have you tried another set of ear/headphones on the same songs? If there's no buzzing with other earphones, than you have a defective TF10. I heard a weird buzz off of one song I bought from Google Music. That got me a bit worried briefly until I checked with another set of...- ori88

Buying portable or in-ear headphones? Seeking guidance? DON'T START A NEW THREAD. Ask for advice HERE!
*Need a simple IEM with microphone* I have a pair of InEarz custom re-molded TF10vi's that I'm happy with. But when I had them remolded, I decided to use UE custom sockets instead of TF10 sockets, hence I no longer have the microphone on these. I'd also prefer to keep these for plane...- ori88

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Quote: Swap the cables and see if that changes things. If it does then it's surely the cable. Logitech will send you a new cable. They may try to send you a new TF10, but if it's not the earphone, then you maybe better off asking for just the cable. I've heard there's a wait for...- ori88

Quote: Yes, the tf-10 and tf10vi cable use the same sockets. Dirty little secret..though i guess it's not really a secret at this point. Buy a TF10, get a $30 vi cable, and now you have a tf10vi plus a spare cable. tadaaaa- ori88

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Lots of people have done reshells of their TF10s, myself included. I was in the same boat, not happy with the fit in my ear. Little bit of pain, constant adjustment, seal issues, absolutely useless at the gym. I tried over 10 different tips. After reshelling, they're awesome. Fit is great...- ori88

Customs adjustment advice
And another update....so what I described in my original post is definitely not normal, as others have pointed out. I went to a hearing aid specialist who told me what needed to be adjusted. After the adjustment, they came back with a much better fit. I was able to run on a treadmill without...- ori88

InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread
1) $90 2) I think fit issues are common as there's so much variability. But color and finish should not be. There's several other companies that do it but most are more expensive. Stock means not previously reshelled/customized. I'm guessing it's easier to break apart a stock IEM vs...- ori88

Ok this is going to be a long post, but there was a call for pics so I'll oblige with several. It also reflects a long journey which started in Nov. I'm not going to get into the exact dates, but each time has taken 3-4 weeks and it took 3 times to get it right...well sorta. Here are the...- ori88

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING
So after waiting 4 weeks for my IEMS (first time took 3 weeks) ... I'm disappointed to say that they're wrong...again. This time, they put in a design that I didn't ask for. As a matter of fact, I didn't ask for any design. Did someone else on here ask for these? Time to call Kaysen again...- ori88

Warranty TF10 Ebay
They call it a SN, but it's more like a batch number or something that tells the year in which they're made, hence warrantied.- ori88

Are custom in ear monitors comfortable?
Much more comfortable than IEMs jammed into your ear canal since they don't sit as deep.- ori88

Quote: isolation is good if you can get a good seal. I wear them on planes all the time and its great at blocking out babies crying and reducing engine noise. But I'd temper your expectations about running. I can't keep a good seal when running and have to constantly adjust.- ori88

TF10 Cable "Failures"?
Quote: That seems silly to me as there are many options to replace the cable...but ok. As for the original question, I heard there was a change to the TF10 (not TF10vi) cable either last year or the year before from a straight jack to an L jack. Maybe that has helped them from...- ori88

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING

Customs adjustment advice
So just as an update, I used the non-toxic Piggy Paint I mentioned above, put on a few layers and i definitely notice a BIG difference with the bass. Now there's a very deep thump that I expected. Also, when I push them with my fingers (slightly), I don't hear any difference. Now...I just...- ori88
