ZMF Verite Open

Beautiful variant. The VO with BE2 perf lambskin remains the most unique sounding headphone out there. It's note tactility is top notch and I can't speak enough of how well it separates and layer sound with excellent micro dynamic contrast. It has left an imprint since I heard it few years and I knew I had to get one. If you're a fan I doubt there's any headphone that will ever replace it.
"note tactility" (amazing phrase!)

I might buy a three year old Verite tomorrow.
Is the (driver-) warranty transferable?

No, but ZMF usually takes care of their customers even if buying used at a minimal cost vs. what other companies charge.

If the seller allows, you can send them to him/her in case of an issue, i think. :)

It's one opportunity if you trust the seller and he/she agrees.

Thanks for the info.
Today there is an interesting comparison.
HE-1000 V2 vs. Verite.
Both adjusted to Oratory's Hamann settings.
I am curious.

HE-1000 V2 was one of very few headphones I liked that I hadn't already heard. I'd love to compare the two and spend more time with the HE-1000 V2, though now that the Caldera is out I can't imagine buying the HE-1000 V2, since it was just not on the same level.

Interesting.
I'm curious about the timbre of the Verite. Because to my brain, nothing sounds as realistic as classic dynamic drivers.
To be more specific, the clear mg was the most realistic sounding headphone I had.
I moved from the LCD 5, to the MG. Unfortunately the MG clipped like hell,
so it had to go...

Timbre of the VO’s is as natural as it comes. At least to my ears.

Same I feel, I can listen to some recordings have done myself from wife's cello playing. And its tonally very right, I would put the Timbre on Verite Open as Grade S

I find ZMF timbre pretty good in general. The Atrium takes the cake for me with it's biocell timbre with probably the most true to life drums I've heard off a headphone in terms of heft and tonality(decay, reverb, texture etc). Verite sounds pretty accurate to my ears and was my top choice.
