Not going to lie, looked into these stands last night and purchased one this morning for my upcoming new Bokeh Stabilized. Very excited! Thank you for the awesome find / rec.

I wish the Shedua wood was offered as I prefer darker shades of wood

When they are offered in Walnut wood, I'll get one

*sigh* Delivery woes...

So of course they were late delivering it yesterday and I was not home, even though I paid extra to have it delivered during the "morning window". They came an hour past that window.

Through the FedEx app I requested to have it sent to the FedEx office near me, but then I get a call this morning saying it's still in a different county and I need to call and reschedule or they'll send it back to ZMF.

Since my roommate and I are basically gone all day during the week and the "morning window" is not reliable, no other home delivery time is going to work. I called and had it rerouted to the FedEx office near me so I can just pick it up on Friday. Let's hope it works this time...

Ugh that is so frustrating. I hate dealing with windows that are always missed. And then calling them and dealing with wait times...

if anyone was interested in Woodnymph (the secretly glow in the dark Auteur), I've made a deal with myself that I can't pick up the Caldera Closed I've been staring at unless I re-route one of my earlier November purchases, and that would be this (or I suppose the Aeolus Flageolet, but I've never had an Aeolus so less inclined). I would eat tax and shipping. Hit me up if interested. It was not advertised as glow but you can see it on the Instagram post from 11/2. It is a bit subtle but glows if you charge it up with light. Neat set!

That sucks man. Hopefully they can rectify the issue. Its the holiday season so theyll be busy and miss alot of the delievery windows. It already happened to me 3 times the last few weeks.

Luckily i have the benefit of having retired parents who are always home and have the ability to sign for my packages.

I hope everyone gets their drops delievered to them and they are not lost.

I’ve given up trying to be home for FedEx. If it’s shipping that way it goes straight to the FedEx Office location. I think they’ll hold it for a week though I’ve always managed to make time for the following day at the latest. (Because I want my new toys.) I used to have some things shipped to my business but had bad experiences with deliveries left after business hours in weird spots like tossed over the back fence or in the neighbor’s bushes because clearly if you have a business in a rural area you must live next store. UPS isn’t much better. Delivery windows and office hours mean nothing to these people.

I worked from home yesterday to sign for my Bokeh stabilized but of course it was delayed in OR by FedEx so now it's "scheduled" for Thursday - ugh!

100% I've been waiting a while for this. It's a good compliment for my grumpy goose stand, use that for my main driver, mega salire for the rest

One of the things I've been most excited for oddly enough, even after 2 amp and 3 headphone purchases this month...

Half tempted to wait until the custom shop is ready though, would love to have a salire/mega salire with some amboyna burl or padauk elements. Maybe not feasible in terms of cost/best use of the wood though.

Yeah it's my first Aeolus so probably gonna hang onto that one. I've had a couple Auteurs which is why it's on the block
