Taken a shine to the resin flakes for the open headphones. Sonically, closed has just never really been my thing. Would have liked the wood matching to be a little closer between the left/right but it's nevertheless a stunning headphone.
Decisions. In discussions with my dealer what to order next!
Just had 2 random ideas for finishes. I know burls and heavy figuring are usually favored for interesting cups, but would book matched cups with simpler grain be a desirable look? Maybe some people would appreciate symmetry.
The other one is I’ve always liked cerused oak.Might make a nice finish where the grain really pops. It’s done with dye, not stain, so I imagine there are a lot of color options besides the one pictured.
I was watching my creamer swirl around in my coffee this morning before I stirred it, and caught myself thinking, something like that look would really look nice on a ZMF headphone.
Thought about getting one of these but I have not been a big stabilized fan. I have also hesitated because I have read that there is not a significant difference between the CO that I already have, and the CC. If that is true, I would just be paying for the aesthetics. I know that a lot of us value that but...
I know our wallets are all hurting but if anyone missed out on the Amboyna Burl, I may have an opportunity to transfer my order to you for the AB4 Atrium Open. I was one of the double order buyers and I would be willing to take the loss on the taxes. Please send me a PM if interested.

Oh yeah, honestly the mega salire is what i've been waiting for most. I love my Salires, and wood stuff in general. Even if i don't use it for my headphones i'll have it out for decoration. I have one at my desk with a grumpy goose, and people always come over asking what they are. they think their art pieces I agree!!!
