The Tiger Maple looks great! @zach915m , what were the other limited variants besides Purple Heart? I see Tiger Maple, Purple Heart, White Oak & Walnut.

Yeah, I got my duties email today as well. I’ve bought a couple ZMF’s directly from them in the past so I know what I’m in for. Still sucks when you see that total though. On the plus side it’s a pretty major deterrent from selling them as you’re never going to get that money back on the second hand market.

FedEx is playing games with my heart today. The estimated delivery date was today. Then it got switched to tomorrow. It just got switched back to today but not out for delivery yet. I’m sooooo excited. It was a blind buy so I’m not even sure what to expect.

Super annoyed. The FedEx truck just attempted to deliver my package at the back of my house. I saw the truck leave my alley but no attempt was made to deliver it to my front entrance.

I guess I won’t be getting them today.

What an incredible unboxing experience. The new wooden cases are a lot nicer than the older ones. I couldn’t be happier. If the Eikon’s sound half as good as they look I’ll die a happy man.

I was eyeballing those Eikon's during ZMF November and wondered who got lucky and snagged them (#15 if I recall correctly)

They were actually on a different FedEx truck. I’m super happy with these. I’m about 25mins into my testing playlist. I’ll listen for about another 30mins then run the first batch of burn-in.

My Aeolus changed a lot after about 30hours so that’s where I’ll start. My VC’s needed about 200hours to really sound their best.

I know there’s a tonne of people who only want to go after ZMF’s top tier but all of the stuff on his lower end is amazing as well. The Aeolus and Eikon are super under represented. I’ve had just as many unbelievable listening experiences with the VC as I’ve had with Aeolus. So far these Eikon are sounding like they’re gonna be a keeper as well.

I gotta thank @zach915m Bevin & the talented ZMF team for making this such an amazing time to be in the hobby. This is the third ZMF November that I've been able to participate in and even though unfortunate news hit me, I lost my job suddenly and had to sell my VC to recoup some of the outgoing funds I'm super happy with the result today. Looking forward to buying a VC back next November.

My ZMF Salire arrived today. It looks gorgeous but unfortunately the thread is botched so that I can't screw the screw deep enough.

Guess I have to buy a shorter screw to make it hold tight
