Would like to purchase a 10ft cable with a 4pin XLR for the Caldera. Like the ZMF Verite Silver, but it will cost me over $1k for the desired length. Any other suggestions on par to the Verite Silver at the fraction of the price?

I have 2 Forza Noir HPC MK2 cables. As a fan of big copper, I can't say enough about the price/performance value of these cables. They're flexible, easy to handle, and have next to no microphonics. Plus Matt is very easy to deal with.

I don't have a strong desire for pure silver. The Verite Silver is a combination of silver and copper. Thank you for the suggestions.

+1 on Forza recommendations above for good value to price. For 10ft you may want to try their Claire Hybrid which is thinner (may be more comfortable for such a long run) and affordable. Have couple of those and like them.

Not sure if this counts, but mine came armed with thick pads and I prefer the stock pads. I felt the thick pads were perhaps a little to crispy in the treble and a little too withdrawn in the upper mids, whereas the stock pads sounded more aligned in that area to my ears.

Is that the all-copper? "Hybrid" is the one with copper and silver. Took mine a few weeks to arrive

Yeah, made a mistake an ordered the HPC versus the hybrid. As soon as I discovered this I ordered the other and requested a cancellation. Worst case scenario i have both at the price of one Verite Silver. I do hope it arrives in a couple weeks since I will be moving early June.

I actually just got my thick’s in today. And I prefer the stock because I feel the thick’s take away the dynamics that makes the caldera really fun for me. That said the thicks bring the bass to where I personally want them, but I’m not willing to trade the dynamics for it.

Depending on the genre I’m listening to that will decide which I use though.

I usually got mine within a week or so in NYC. been a year or two so since last cable order so not current
