Would definitely look into this price range! (Heard the im70s sound like the m50s which i hear are highly regarded)

Will save up for my upcoming trip to Japan next year, Hopefully the Hybrids will be good enough for now!

They are great entry-level headphones, but in my opinion the IM70 surpasses them. The M50 is fun but can get muddy in the mids and fast passages. The IM70 is better balanced although the treble is rolled-off early. Both come from the same family of sound but I much prefer the IM70 to the M50.

What do you think is the best from that price range?

If you don't want to step all the way up to the 100-150 range, check out the JVC FXH30. They are an awesome earphone for ~40-60 USD, especially when they complete with the Titan 1 (just in sound quality....material quality and accessories on the Titan 1 are miles ahead).

B9 have you heard the LZ A2? Heard it's a killer hybrid for a great price. A step up from these Xiaomi hybrids perhaps.

Kinda confused here, Is this IEM good for it's price range? (Only coming from the free apple earpods)

No. Absolutely not.

Buy a KZ HDS1. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/KZ-HDS1-Air-3-5mm-Noise-Cancelling-Earbuds-Stereo-Music-Small-In-Ear-Monitor-Headphones-Mini/32478450960.html?ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_1,searchweb201644_3_79_78_77_82_80_62,searchweb201560_5

You've been hating on these Hybrids for pages on end. I guess you are more a neutral and balanced sound kinda guy. I think people who appreciate a more 'fun' sound and don't mind a bit of V-shape will have no qualms with these Hybrids, especially at $20.

Furthermore, the build quality ****s all over anything at this pricepoint, especially KZ which are always a gamble in terms of quality control. KZ are nice earphones to take a gamble on but if you want to buy 1 pair that will be 100% OK out of the box and will last, they are not a good recommendation.

I enjoy all kinds of signatures, look, the ZS1 is anything but neutral. I'm not so sure about that because the Hybrid on the strain relief part on the IEM itself felt like it's a weak point.

How can you simply say someone hates it when he's had given it a thorough run through? Do you know anything I listen to, like my Superlux headphones?

I haven't, but I've been following their thread. Seems like a pretty great iem.

What I focused on was some impressions of spikey treble on the A2.  That eliminates it from my radar. I had this problem with the Macaws. The Treble can actually hurt my eardrums. This is the cheaper RT model I'm referring to.

I'm not overly treble sensitive so I think they would be fine. That said, while I've been following the A2 and other hybrids, there aren't really any out there that peak my interest atm. I'm more down for microdriver iems (6mm and smaller) which seem seem to offer the best of both BAs and DDs; amazing detail and speed of a BA while offering up the fantastic bass performance and natural sound of a DD. That's where the FXH30 comes in. Still haven't found anything that dethrones them (for my preferences).
