How well Kogan or Ritmix player with Pro 80 you think?

I don't have neither of those players.

I suggest you go to the Takstars thread of you have these queries about it, as this is the X2 thread.

I have a amazon and ebay store and i'm considering selling these as there are no one selling them in the UK. Two things are worrying me, the first Is the UI any worse than any other cheap mp3 player are they all not very good or is this particularly bad? Secondly quality control and durability. Have many people received a player that does not work and is it common for them to stop working in a few months?

in the price range and for chinese DAPs, they're the usual thing or even slightly nicer to use than some. simply having several firmwares with different setting options makes for a wider range of choices(like keeping the DAP unlocked if we want to).
compared to any modern cellphone, ipod touch, or sony, the UI looks aggravating. it's really a matter of perspective and price.

Thank you for the help. I think i'll order a sample batch to test the demand. One for myself of course! ;)

They will be around 30% more expensive than buying from china after i add the taxes. Time will tell if UK buyers are will to pay the extra for quick delivery and easy returns.

Hi guys,

I was a proud new owner of the Xduoo X2 from last week ... until yesterday.
This s**t suddenly died when I was listening music.

The battery is ok (close to full charge) but the player refuse to turn on until then.
When I push the reset button, I hear the click but the player refuse to turn on (the screen never light on).
When I plug it to usb or charger, computer don't recognize it and the battery don't charge (Xduoo box still cold).
I see that some of you had problems with it too. Can someone give me some advices for trying to bring it alive?

Thank you in advance and excuse my very bad english, I'm a froggy french.

Really sorry to hear about that! hmmm I would plug into phone charger and leave for an hour then unplug then try and power it on. If this does not work I would return to vendor as a faulty product. What Firmware version are you on?

The xDuoo X3 looks like a very nice player, except for the battery life. Does Xduoo have plans to make players with longer battery life?????? I have 25+ hours in mind for a smaller player, and 40+ hours in mind for a larger player. I will not even consider buying a player with less than 15 hours of play time, unless it uses an inexpensive, easily swappable battery that can be charged at least two at a time outside the player.

Good sound require more power. So, to have 25+ hours for player sounding like X2, you need size about Fiio X5 and for 40+ hours it'll be something close to QLS360 (both in size and price).

I think someone already suggested it - get 3-4 sansa clips and you'll just move the micro sdcard between them and you're set. No manufacturer is thinking about something like this in this day and age. They think about portability or more power. It's the same with the replaceable batteries - no way a manufacturers will make a cr123 battery powered DAP - that means at least 2cm thickness of the DAP which doesn't bode well with the current trend of sub-10mm gear.

power and play time have to share for a given battery size. to have both go up, we need the battery size to go up twice too. at this time there really is no way around it.

I have been practicing the multi sansa for years with great pleasure. most certainly not the best sound there is, but so convenient.  even now when I have too many DAPs for no reason, I still always keep one or 2 in my bags, for audiobooks, or just as spare sound source when the "real one" dies on me. might not sound the best, but it beats having no music anytime ^_^.

else cowon does long lasting DAPs, but they certainly have drawbacks too.

I already test plugin it to a phone charger and it doesn't charge at all (aluminium case still cold as ice after an hour).
However the battery is not in cause as it was full at the moment of the incident, I opened the Xduoo and the player click each time I pluged the battery.

I sent a message to the seller and have no response yet. But I don't really want to return it due to extremely high post chages here in France...

So, now you can see why and how they can sell it so cheap...

Yes there has been reports of a few having issues but that's the same as most product line, I am lucky and mine is still going strong and I am sorry you had issues with yours as it really does sound nice for the price. So you do not get any click noise from the center button when held down at all?

Cowon makes players with up to 110 hours of battery life. They are expensive though. Many don't like their touchscreens or their firmware.

As stated before, the 1st revision of the X2 has this problem, not all of them but unfortunately they do. Same thing happened to me. I sent mine back, it costed me less then AU$20. The replacement I got was from the second revision and still works to this day.
