xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!

  My X2 won't turn on today... I haven't used it for two weeks and today I wanted to try Rock Mula with it and it won't turn on at all, so I connected the charger, but it don't seem to charge at all or even turn on. I even tried to push the reset button... nothing works.
It is dead?

I had this issue briefly but I left it on charge and tried again after an hour or try plugging into a phone charger plug.

Left it on phone charger for more than 3 hours... still dead 

 with usb doctor, it is showing only 0.02A current... so basically not charging. Could the battery be the problem?

Did you try another cable or clicking the reset button while on charge? Never had to deal with the battery myself so cannot help you there sorry.

Ok,... good news it's ALIVE again

... I left it on charge for 2 hours and could hear it click from time to time. So I removed it from charge, pushed the reset button for 10 sec at least and I could turn it on. Now it is charging correctly at 0.5 A. I understand that if the battery is completely discharges, it acts as if its dead

I just got my X2 yesterday and charged it all night added my card today and 2 things hit me right away.
 
First this thing sounds really awesome. Much better than the Clip+.
 
And second, wow is the UI awful. I dont have my music in folder format so its really bad right now. I'm doing some organizing to get it into folders and hopefully this will solve the problems, but you would think they would have even a somewhat better UI along the lines of the stock clip+
 
The build and look of the player and really good. I took me a second or two to find the settings for language but even that was pretty simple.
 
The firmware is v6.0 is there an update to v6.0 ?
 
Off to reorganize my 8,000 songs

I am finding that windows media player is great for organising the X2 and X3 and on windows 10 it fully supports .flac also. I do admit the UI is a little clunky but the sound is worth it, this little monster will power your biggest headphones and not break a sweat. Also you may notice you get better sound from your headphone than you did with your last player. I think the sound quality is worth it yes but XDuoo have been releasing firmware upgrades to improve since its release and V7 is available on their website if you are on V6.

I have a Windows 10 machine but i haven't used WMP in years, but i might just give it a go. I have been using Winamp since Music Match Jukebox went away. Man do I miss MMJB.
 
I will update to V7, is there anything special about that update ?

ONN X5, ape flac mastering etc. 53€ :-@ made in denmark... alluminium. Who knows something about?

There is always going to be a competitor You have just bought an X3 so I would not worry about this compared to the X2 unless you are looking for something like the X2
Looknig that eh ONN website compared to the Xduoo website I can see which has their head more into audio specialisation

I have one of the Onn cheaper audio player that I paid 9$ 

, mainly because it can play FM, and also because any day the XDuoo does not have a reputation of being reliable... deserves the reputation coz, it died again on me after being alive for 30 minutes.
So now I am using the cheapo Onn but of course the sound is not as good as the X2.
If the Onn X5 gets cheaper like 50$, I will consider buying it. No more XDuoo for me for moment.

1) Gently wipe a special layer on the reverse side of the glass (it is necessary to disassemble the player), good results have a means of removing women's nail polish.

Oh you may find it has a thin protective plastic protector on the screen, if you have not removed it yet just test in the corner with your nail you will soon tell.

So i have decided to send the unit back. After i reorganized my music to try and make it easier for the X2 it still isn't good enough for me easily find the music i want or to play it the way I like. That on top of not being able to get the firmware  to down load right and the screen being unusable outside in daylight it's just not a finished product.
 
I'll get another Clip+ and I know that the X2 sounds better, but there are too many frustrations for me to keep this unit.
