The LCD screen in underneath a piece of glass that protects it. This piece of glass has a mirror coating on the back side.

agreed, doesn't remove my worries though. oh well, someone will try. still the best way to know how it goes. ^_^

I have only compared to my pc, go gear and the XDuoo X1 and X3 as of yet. The X3 is the better of the lot but the X2 in sound is still great for its cost. I tend to think that XDuoo know what they are doing by visiting their website. They started with Amps and are focused around sound. Maybe check out this thread http://www.head-fi.org/t/782912/xduoo-x3-dsd-24bit-192khz-cs4398-chip-lossless-music-player/285#post_12041854

I wish they would come out with players with longer battery life. Ideally I would like 50+ hours of battery life, although even 20 hours would be much more convenient for me than just 8 or 10 hours.

Cowon has the M2 which states 90hrs of music play.

Many complain about the M2 touchscreen and about the M2 firmware. Besides which, the M2 is $150, not under $100.

Aliexpress has a deal for tomorrow that is $35 so even though i had issues i think i will pick one up at that price and just keep a smaller amount of music on it and see if that works better with the limited UI

A track starts to work after 4-10 days, or may be not work all the time.
In the summer of 2014 I bought in a store Aliexpress goods by Hong Kong Post. From the date the order was 8 days, and I got the goods. The track started to work after 15 days from the date of order.

The way some couriers and postal services work is with prepaid parcels. You fill in a parcel bag that already got its own tracking number. They can give that number to you before it processed into the system. It could take up to a week before its actually on the system.
