That's what I thought, too. Then TheoS53 pointed out that our font files are much, much smaller. That's where most of it comes from. Some does come from fewer and simpler graphics files, as well.

Yeah, the font files that we use really are only meant for English users. My guess is that the original font has a crap ton of other characters used for various other languages, which makes it considerably bigger

Quick question to those who have been using this FW....when you play all songs from an artist..does it play them in order of each album..or the 1st tracks of each album, then the 2nd tracks etc?

I just opened https://app.devzing.com/FiiO/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=196 to use the Album Artist instead of the Artist tag in the library. I was surprised that nobody had already done it.

a nice thing would be posting some higher res photos with custom firmwares... just saying, it would be much more attractive to some. i will do so if there will not be anybody doing it. i don't own a better camera than my smartphone.

This is one that I want, too. This would be especially handy for multi-artist compilations in which I have the Album Artist set as "Various Artists"

The translation is "Folder hop song"....so I'm assuming this must be for the player to play the next song in the next folder after the last song in the current folder has finished playing
