im not dead set on them, no one has listed on open headphone up to my price max as of yet.
 
 
how would the HF2 compare.. i might be able to swing a used pair of those.

You actually seem dead set on Grados however. You want open headphones because of soundstage, so you pick GRADO?? doesn't make sense to me, but whatever floats your boat

i dont listen to classical and im not really concerned with sound stage.
 
 
 
i also realized that since i will only be using this at home, il prob be listening to more classical rock and acoustic based music.
 
and in that case i love my grados for this and had no complaints.
 
the decision would than be between the 225i and 325I,
 
ive loved the 255I not sure if the 325I would give me any improvement id like to pay for. id really like to look into the hf-2 but the price tag, scares me a little.
