Let's see.. IIRC my first set of cans I had purchased since joining Head-Fi was a pair of D66 Eggos. Bought them 2 months after I had became a member and I still do have them. I had bought a pair of CD3000's month and half before I became a member.

A few weeks after I started reading here, I found a pair of Sony V6's at my local thrift shop for $9, so I got 'em because they were cheap. The first pair of cans I chose to buy after reading here was A500's.

I had Bose Triports before I came .. then I bought PortaPros and realized that they sounded better than the Triports, so I sold them. Then I got HD-555's a few weeks later, and two months later I upgraded to my current k271.

Own Beyer DT231 prior to joining Head-Fi.
I have just purchased my first Senn headphone (HD580). I should have them next week - can't wait for them too arrive.

Before Katome introduced me to the world of audiophiles and head-fi I had HD570's.
Afterwards I immediatly bought home and portable equipment.
