I thought the Grado SR60i headphones were ridiculously comfortable. I could wear those things for 20 hours at a time - and have, but that's beside the point.

Having the T1 now and having used the DT 880 before, I'd say the DT 880 is more comfortable than the T1 but not by much. These are both more comfortable than the SR60i.

You literally had the headphones on for 20 hours straight?

Despite the Grado being uncomfortable I loved wearing them for a long time. My ears would get warm within an hour or so but I always liked the fit for some reason.

They can get heavy, but Denon's D class is probably the most comfortable brand of headphone I've ever worn.

Have limited experience with a variety of headphones but the XB500 (and the rest of the XB series I presume) are very comfortable to wear. Giant pleather wheels are awesome!

The XB500s and XB700s. Pillows, I honestly could sleep with them. Not in that way, get that out of your head :p

Do the Denon D line make your ears sweaty? I have never had over ear with earcups made with anything but cloth and I am worried that the D line would be sweaty after a while.

The D2000 for me, don't make my ears sweaty.  I'm always in a well-ventilated room, however.  They barely clamp down, and that's a big reason for it.  However they do show oil after you've worn them for a while though.

How comfortable are the Denons with the J-money pads?

I know a lot of people disliked the K702s headband personally its never bothered me in the least. I would say they are average though for comfort. I think the HD 650 and HD800 are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I would say the least comfortable hands down are the Grado SR80s those where almost painful to wear at least for me. The 2nd worse where the Audio Techinca M50s and the LCD2s are not much better either.

To each their own though.
