Used to have the Senn HD201's, loved them.
 
Now looking to buy a new pair of headphones, but I hate the Beats trend because I know there are definitely some headphones out there half the price that are as good if not better than they are.
 
So can anyone recommend me any?

They're cooler than beats, cheaper than beats and sound better.

So much to list. So little time. Monster is overpriced and headphones half or even a quarter of the price can be on par or even beat the Beats themselves.
 
P.S. The first four that I listed are the usual alternatives to the Studio.

If you still want headphones with a decent amount of bass, the Audio Technica ATH-M50 are a good option, but if you want more balanced headphones, go with the Sennheiser HD 428/448 or the Shure 440/840's.

My 9 years old Sony $50 headphone sounds better than Dr Dre Studio/Pro headphone.
