Sheep or calf brains with artechokes.

When I was still in college, one weekend was spent in the "other" college town in the state and when the bars closed down at 2 AM, everyone would stumble to the Ox (name of the greasy spoon) for brains & eggs. I could not even think about eating something like that, schiit-faced or sober!I remember a night in Montreal as a kid, going to a restaurant with my folks and my dad ordered calf’s brain. I didn’t try it but you don’t see brain on the menus much anymore. Well other than sweat meats ... maybe that’s code for brain?
I hope Mike is recovering further.
Agreed. Alphabet soup time....On a Roon forum I found this one on a discussion about MQA.
The questions was if a blue light on an MQA capable guaranties the authentication of the file.
Truncating MQA files to 16 bits and the blue light still shines
I especially like this part:
When FredericV poses the question:
“So if the real MQA file, and stripped version with only 16 bits of entropy, both show decoding to 24/352.8, how does the customer know he is not being scammed?”
And user mansr says:
“Easy, if the blue light is on, it’s a scam”
Hilarious
Still a great afternoon at the national gallery.
Going to the National Gallery was a transformative experience for me. I bought a print from there that is one of my most treasured possessions.
In terms of the real topic of this thead (coffee), I was just in Kaui Hawaii and did a self tour of one the coffee plantations there. 4M trees! Almost enough for a week of brew
I didn't love any of the samples from the plantation but I could really taste the freshness of the roast everywhere I went in Hawaii.
