Paul Barrere, guitarist and singer for the long-running rock group Little Feat, has died at 71, the band announced.

In a blog post shared Saturday and signed by Little Feat members Bill Payne, Sam Clayton, Fred Tackett, Kenny Gradney and Gabe Ford on the band's official website, they announced the death of "our brother guitarist, Paul Barrere" on Saturday morning at the UCLA Hospital amid "ongoing treatment for liver disease."

RIP

RIP got them playing now...

Still recovering from Chuck Loeb's death, hoping Four Play will continue somehow.

Just scored 5 lbs of kona extra fancy at 20$/lb cad. That’s great price for Canada. I have seen kona up to 70$/lb here. Just orderd another 5 lbs free shipping to boot with a bonus 2lb of hand made pasta....

Nuts - and there's me who had to replace my kettle urgently today as the lid kept popping up involuntarily. Suffice to say that while my £35 bought me something functional, it's not as elegant or desirable as that and I wish I'd seen this before buying anything

I've never seen a kettle that not only lets you sets the temperature but is also pretty. I've only ever seen one or the other before.

Fortunately I do have some good beans to enjoy from my local roaster - Wogan coffee in Bristol, UK. Ethiopian Lekempte, which I enjoy very much from.my aeropress. Wogan have an EK43, should a walk-in customer want their beans ground , but that's their small grinder. The big 'un in the back stood 5 ft tall, but looked like it had far less finesse.

@Baldr

I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you your presence here is missed. I hope you are doing well and getting better/stronger every day.

BTW -- I also wanted to thank you for your work and effort in rolling out the new Bifrost DAC. It just sounds fantastic and with its feature-set is an astounding value for the price -- heck for anything at 2x the price!! Keep up the great work and pop in and post whenever you can -- even if it's just a 1 liner.
