I am really loving these cans. the detail is amazing and as the pads soften up alittle I can tell that the bass is going to fill out well.
Its taking a while to adjust from the K501s but I really like where these are going

I'm glad you're still liking them over longer term listening in your own system.

Elephas, you can scratch off SK138 for the M³. The amp is in my possession now, and while I've only listened for a very short with it, the Ruffinato sounds awesome with this M³. Go Team M³!

And happy 2nd Head-Fi anniversary to us!

scocrates63, I am glad you like it. It's a wonderful amp.

Elephas, you can add me for modded X-Can V2. It's so modded there are only 7 items from the original stock components. It's one of my first amps and I been trying to find something better but I always come back to it....especially after the fast diode change mod Pinky suggested.

I completely agree...But I am very happy with the HA5000. We both have great amps for the W5000s.

Gents,

Corda Opera (in transit) will be paired with my W5000's.

The W5000's really are quite versatile - awaiting the Opera, they've sounded quite tasty with both my Yammy HA-02 and PS Audio GCHA

. They are my all around favourites.

Cheers,

Cambridge Azur 840C lineout to Xin SuperMacro4. Though being a lazy person that I'm and too lazy to reach over and changing CDs, I mostly line up the FLACs on the RockBox'ed iHP-140 switching on the optical out, and using the 840C as a DAC - bliss.

Elephas, put me down for my latest amp acquisition...

Berning MicroZOTL with Sylvania Gold Brand 6201 & Ken-Rad 6SN7GT/VT231 tubes.

I guess I am back to tubes

Had the W5000s for around a month now, prefer them to the RS1s although I still like the W1000s for some discs.

amp choice hands down to the Yamamoto HA-02

Now having a little spare cash I'm torn between getting a HA5000,upgrading my cdp, or getting a pair of AD2000s and some more records.
The AT amp would give me a better ss choice than the Perreaux but then just maybe the Mapletree might go....choices, choices.

Love to hear a comparison between the Yamamoto and the HA5000.

Running my W5000 behind a Woo6 - using a Grace M902 for the Dac and an Underwood transport mod Denon 1930 or lossless flacs foobar.. loved the W5000 through the Grace.. But throw the Woo6 in the mix and I love the warmth added to the high end and the punch on the bottom..
