VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread

Exactly! :)
As a second thought I think you should repeat the process three times, one for each cable segment. The first segment is from the mini jack connector to the plastic that host the wire channel separation (you can use the same tecnique illustrated above) and then you should repeat the process once for each cable channel (left and right). This is because in the image you attached the last segments of the cable can't move freely.

Hm, guess it did not help. But on the bright side, Gr07 fits more comfortably when it's worn down. I wish they made Gr07 cable like Westone's....the beefy and springy cable won't let to stay over my ear (even if I had followed the instruction and the ear guide).

Tried taping over the vents for the first time - definite improvement. Anyone who finds them a bit lacking in meat or warmth should try it.

That is to pass the air through the iem -.- it isn't recommended sealed

It is there for more than one reason otherwise Vsonic wouldn't put a hole in their iem if the only reason is to tame the bass. But it is your iem, do what you want

Pretty sure it's been said doing this could/would effect the life of the driver...but go nuts!

Rin actually measured it with either front or rear vent blocked and with both of them blocked and yeah, the bass changes depending on the blocked vents but he also said he wouldn't recommend it coz the vents prevent over-pressurizing of the iem.
