Yeah, Vsonic's CEO said they are discontinuing pretty much all of their current models and there will be 3 new lines of models supposedly coming November or December, but with their track record who knows. Only time will tell if they have finally created worthy successors to the gr07's legacy or he's just trying to run his father's company to the ground. Right now the new copper and bronze Ares have been released at $1000+, which is complete insanity as no one is buying even the cheap Ares version

Well, that sucks. I guess that I will buy a GR07BE 2017 with detachable just in case my current GR07 dies (has been running strong for 2.5 years so far). I think that they will replace the GR07 with something around a similar price, it just wouldn't make sense otherwise. The GR07 has been really successful because of its affordability relative to its sound quality.

I bought the exact item from them (2018 GR07 BE) on November of last year with no issues ... 11 days from ordering to delivery in the US. However, when ordering on AliExpress I suggest you use PayPal for payment.

OK I read somewhere the spiral dot M are 10mm in diameter, slightly smaller than other brands. Think I'll order ML.

My current KZ tips measure 12mm in diameter.

How is the quality of the cable on the latest version of the Gr07s? Because the reason that my previous versions failed was because of the cable, specifically the area that wraps around the ear.

So, I have received the 2018 BE detachable version. There is an issue with the right earpiece. Whenever I rotate the MMCX cable a little bit, the sound falls away. It's the same when I put a little bit of pressure to the cable, to the right or the left. This can't be normal right?

Yes, I contacted the Vsonic shop on AliExpress. Hope they react soon.

Somehow, except for the first pair of GR07, every order of GR07s (there have been 4) needed to be returned 1 or more times.... Are the production qualities really that bad?
