Yeah, those were my exact thoughts as I was writing it. That warm, resonant, engulfing musicality is more the VE8's wheelhouse. I reckon they'd make great compliments if that's the route you're going.

Loving my newly bought Elysium. Can't stop listening to classical because how good it sounds on them. Bach cello suites sound incredible.

Yes it is.

Elysium love still present. Elysium + M8 is still the jewel in the crown of my IEM experience so far but the relationship is no longer exclusive given my insatiable desire for variety. One of my greatest IEM wishes at the moment is for there to be something of a "MK ii" of the Elysium with one of those gen 2 e-stats used in the Odin, Trailli etc.
