So after some advise i went for Both the Meizu Dac and the dc01 with some balanced cabels.
Meizu for the narural sound and the dc01 as at seems a bit more bass heavy and frankly i want to try balanced

Now the China waiting game again

Cool, I'm looking forward to your comparison between the two.

I hope the Ztella works with Samsung devices, unlike the DC02. Mine is leaving Hong Kong now. I did just get a free Dragonfly Red from Focal with my Elegias, which was unexpected. But the Ztella looks more capable and isn't as bulky. But if I had known I was getting a DFR, I probably would not have ordered the Ztella.
Ztella is def better than the DFR. No comparison really IMO.

That's what I chose, standard shipping. I bought something else earlier this year and it took 34 days to arrive, but it was from a different seller on the website. I don't mind waiting as long as the product gets here, and in one piece :)
Currently I'm using HTC's bundled DAC cable with my HTC U11 phone, it's sounds pretty good but the Meizu DAC is probably better and it supports frequency range of 20Hz to 40KHz (HTC's DAC specs is unknown).

I felt like this one was relevant to this thread. I apologize beforehand for sharing it if not interested.

I finished writing my in-depth review of the iBasso IT01S. The review also includes reviews of the Balanced 4.4mm CB12S Cable, CA04 2.5 to 4.4mm adapter and DC01 Type-C 384khz/32bit / DSD256 DAC/AMP.

With IT01S priced at 200 USD, and everything else below it, this is a review that's going to be both about good products, but also about pocket-friendly stuff! :)

George, have you auditioned the iBasso DC02 (3.5mm)?
I'm seriously considering it for my Samsung tablet and easy to drive headphones...

One interesting thing I found out about the DC01, it has very low latency. This is unusual for non-ASIO devices, even sound cards. The FiiO X7II presents itself as an ASIO sound card, but the latency is terrible, most likely because of a bug (the latency decreases when the sample rate increases, which should not happen).

What this means is that you can use the DC01 for producing music, you hear the notes you play instantly. Coupled with its good audio quality makes this a really good solution for producing music on laptops or even on your phone (Caustic is a great app for that).

This also means the audio will be tightly synced when watching videos or playing games.

The Meizu dongle is miles better and way cheaper. No idea why anyone would get the DC02 tbh.
Let me re-phrase my question (your answer might stay the same :)):
I am looking for a USB-C DAC with 3.5mm connector, to be used with my Samsung tablet and easy to drive headphones (Sennheiser HD380).
I am going to use it for streaming Netflix / Hulu movies and TV shows, so I care more about meaty bass and full body sound, than "audiophile approved" linear / neutral sound signature!
Clear dialogue would be nice, too (i.e. no recessed mids I guess).

So, bearing that in mind, which of the following should I go for?
Meizu "standard"
Meizu Pro
iBasso DC02
something else?

Thanks!
