Is the dc02 viable to use as lime out?

For example:
Cayin N3 > ibasso dc02 > cayin c5?

I don't want to wear out the 3.5mm jack of the cayin n3 and my ibasso it01. Because I will be unplugging the it01 to plug in the C5 +dt880 and vice versa, everyday.

Ok folks, so I've received the Ztella. I'm really loving its miniscule form factor and build quality, BUT (drum roll please....)...

From my initial listening impressions, I still prefer ibasso DC01... better resolution, vocals sounds more 'alive', more musical, bass seems tighter

Have you tried it with MQA as well? I wasn't expecting it to sound better than the DC01 with other material.

DC01 edges over Ztella in terms of bass quantity and slam (tighter). Tested with Eagles Hotel California (Hell Freezes Over) and The Prodigy Fat of the Land

Yeap, I did. Tested with MQAs from Coldplay and Maroon 5. DC01 better...

Does hardware volume control work in UAPP or do you need to use ibasso's app for that?

Oh well, too bad. Mine will still take about two weeks to arrive I think. Good thing I already have the DC01 then.

I hope the Ztella works with Samsung devices, unlike the DC02. Mine is leaving Hong Kong now. I did just get a free Dragonfly Red from Focal with my Elegias, which was unexpected. But the Ztella looks more capable and isn't as bulky. But if I had known I was getting a DFR, I probably would not have ordered the Ztella.

Ztella seems to be working well in my few hours of testing. But now i'm back to DC01 for reasons as stated earlier...

DC01 also has slightly higher volume output than Ztella. I've to bump up about another 5 volume steps in UAPP for Ztella to reach the same loudness level as DC01
