I've really been enjoying listening to MQA tracks on the Ztella, the instrument separation and holophonic soundstage it provides are great and it sounds really natural with acoustic instruments and voices. Reading up on MQA I can really appreciate all the work that has gone into making music sound as much like the source as possible.
Apart from that, the tiny plug, containing all the electronics, hardly even gets lukewarm and power consumption seems pretty low even when playing MQA.
The Ztella also has very low latency, just like the DC01, have been using it today to compose music and that worked very well.
So solely on sound quality, u prefer Ztella or DC01?

I'll figure it out for myself at the week-end. I will also compare Meizu and 9038S.So solely on sound quality, u prefer Ztella or DC01?

I haven't done any A/B comparing yet, but I'm definitely planning on doing that. I'm expecting to prefer the Ztella if the track is MQA (cost of MQA, Tidal in my case, is a factor here though) and the DC01 for anything else, though I might be surprised. The Ztella at least has its small form factor going for it, and I expect power consumption as well. The DC01 has balanced out though, which is a plus, asl well as support for DSD256.

I just bought the Meizu Pro, trying to offset the awful audio of my pixel 3a -_-I'll figure it out for myself at the week-end. I will also compare Meizu and 9038S.
Hopefully it'll arrive well before 2020.
Does anyone know if the Meizu Pro is compatible with iPhones?

While waiting for the Meizu and dc01 something else arrived yesterday, a TRN BT02s
They work, they are fully wireless. But the hiss of the noise floor on the zsn pro is noticably there.

No it's not. iPhones use a USB Lightning connector, different than USB-C connector in the Meizu DAC. I'm not sure if you use a "USB Lightning to USC-C" adapter then connect the Meizu DAC in it would even work.Does anyone know if the Meizu Pro is compatible with iPhones?

Anyone having issues with DC01? There is a popping sound once I pause a track

DC01 vs meizu pro? I know one is single ended & other is balanced. But they're around the same price so i'm curious. currently own the meizu and wondering if DC01 would be an upgrade or a side grade.

I'll hope to let you know soon as both are on the way. Reason I bought both is that reading this thread I understood the Meizu was natural sounding and the dc01 slightly warm. But this is all from reading this thread so I'm not sure

awesome. look forward to hearing your impressions. I also own the 9038S. And compared to the 9038S, the meizu is actually warm in comparison. But the 9038S is notoriously cold and analytical. Not sure I'd want to go warmer than the meizu. The meizu is almost perfect for me, but I do notice that the 9038S is more open and airy where the meizu feels more closed in. So curious how you think of the soundstage between the two.I'll hope to let you know soon as both are on the way.
