I finally got it, tried it and I have to way that is way way better than having a wagging tail hanging from my phone!! The Shanling pouch works really nicely but there are a couple of points to keep in mind in regards to the connecting cable:

The cable is likely to end up being stretched a bit... This is with my Samsung 23 Ultra, one with a standard length cable (in yellow) and the second pic is with a ddHiFi TC05 cable that is longer than most (the grey one)...
On my Sony Xperia I IV, despite its smaller size, the shorter cable stretching is a similar fashion. Once again the longer TC05 is connecting more comfortably..

Tried a different cable and a couple of connectors (more stuff from Aliexpress):

The 90 degree shaped connector works better that others to avoid stretching the cables that much (and having a longer connecting cable helps a lot):

At the end I also just ordered a DD ddHiFi TC28CPro with a dual USB-C port so I can have data connection with the DAC even if I may need to charge the phone through the second USB-C port...
Having the TC28Pro connector will also save the phone USB-C port from too frequent plug ins/outs as I keep A/Bing dongle DACs or or keep changing the dongle that I carry around..
