IMO, transparent gray is my favorite.
Like the feeling of watching all BA working inside the shell.

It will take some time, Chinese holiday is coming soon, postal services are tooooo slow....and while waiting, listening to my usual head gear i have right now has become a real torture!

Yeah, keep the body translucent. I like to see what's inside the hood.
 
Mine is Smoked black (translucent).
 
A wine red or purple combo will be as good IMO.

There are a lot of color and design choices at UM official website, but they don't provide pictures for each color.

I think its nice to stay simple because if you get tired of it...for such expensive earphones its too bad

shell will definitively stay clear, the faceplate though.....my soul balanced between white and and clear too....or black translucent.....

OMG
I have totally no idea which one i should choose.

There are a ton of pictures on the Unique Melody Facebook page.  I scanned all of them before settling on translucent purple.

I did the same and then was going to go with purple face and smoked black shell. Decided I wanted to easily differentiate L/R so kept purple faces, but went blue and red wine for the shells. I think the purple on blue looks great.

If you want you could try changing the tip color for differentiation. As for your faceplate, choose between your favorite colors.

I went with Red for right and Blue for left tips too. Really makes knowing which is which easy.

I just received mine ! So happy. They sound really good but I'll give them some burn-in before I do a full review. But pics and first impressions are coming soon.
